Ahker Jobs is urgently seeking motivated candidates for the position of Software Engineer Testing. This role is ideal for experienced professionals with 0 to 2 years in the field who possess a strong foundation in both the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The successful candidate will be deeply involved in the creation, execution, and definition of comprehensive test cases, strategies, and scenarios, ensuring product quality from the earliest stages of development. Key responsibilities include participating actively in design and code discussions to advocate for testability and implementing various testing techniques such as function, regression, and negative testing, alongside meticulous defect logging and validation.
The role requires significant manual testing capacity, encompassing all service functionality, which serves as a crucial prequel to automation efforts. A strong candidate will also demonstrate proficiency in compatibility testing across various browsers and user interface testing. Furthermore, a core responsibility involves leveraging analytical skills and innovative test technologies to design and build scalable automated test frameworks and suites, contributing significantly to the product's overall testing strategy. Effective written and verbal communication is essential for reporting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements
Good knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Proficiency in creating, executing, and defining test cases, test strategies, and test scenarios.
Active participation required in all facets of testing, including functional, regression, negative testing, and meticulous defect logging.
Knowledge and experience with user interface (UI) testing methodologies.
Ability to participate effectively in design and code discussions, providing testing perspectives.
Competence in performing comprehensive manual testing, covering all functionality of services as a prerequisite for automation.
Testing compatibility of applications across various browsers and platforms.
Skilled in accurate reporting and validation of bug fixes.
Possessing strong written and verbal communication skills paired with excellent analytical abilities.
Capacity to design and build robust automated test frameworks and test suites for integration into development and testing cycles.
