SITE SUPERVISOR PCM (FTTX & RURAL PROJECTS) @ AFROTEL GROUP
Afrotel Group is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Site Supervisor to join our team, focusing on FTTX and rural telecommunications infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily site activities, ensuring that all project plans and construction targets are met with precision. You will be expected to maintain the highest standards of safety and quality control while managing on-site resources, manpower, and materials effectively. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within the dynamic telecommunications industry while contributing to essential connectivity initiatives. The ideal candidate will report progress directly to the Project Coordinator, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure project success.
Key Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience as Site Supervisor in FTTX or Rural projects
Knowledge of fiber optic installation, splicing, testing and commissioning
Strong leadership and management capabilities
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
Understanding of safety standards and compliance protocols
Proficiency in site resource and manpower coordination
Competence in interpreting technical project plans
Physical capability for field-based site inspections
Commitment to quality assurance and operational excellence
