ACCOUNTANT - FMCG MANUFACTURING @ AFRICRUIT
Africruit is looking for a qualified Accountant to join a well-established FMCG manufacturing company in Tanzania. This is a significant opportunity to become part of a growing international operation within the East African region. The role focuses on managing the full cycle of accounting, ensuring that financial reporting and compliance standards are met while supporting the company's expansion goals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and coordinating both internal and external audits. Key operational duties include monitoring inventory, stock valuation, and SKU-wise tracking to ensure financial accuracy. Candidates are expected to maintain rigorous financial records and controls using advanced ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics to streamline manufacturing operations.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional field.
Proven professional experience as an Accountant within the FMCG or Manufacturing sector.
Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, specifically SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar software.
Comprehensive knowledge of local and international accounting standards and tax regulations.
Experience in managing inventory controls, including stock valuation and SKU-wise tracking.
Demonstrated ability to handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
Strong experience in performing detailed bank reconciliations and financial audits.
Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail in financial record-keeping.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced international manufacturing environment.
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
