AUTOMOTIVE SALES REPRESENTATIVE @ AFRICARRIERS
An Automotive Sales Representative is responsible for selling new and used vehicles by assisting customers in selecting vehicles that meet their needs and budget. This dynamic role involves building strong customer relationships, demonstrating vehicle features, negotiating sales, and ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the sales process. Key responsibilities include welcoming customers and assessing their vehicle needs, providing detailed information on features, specifications, pricing, and available financing options, and conducting vehicle demonstrations and test drives. The representative will also prepare and present sales quotations, negotiate prices within company guidelines, and follow up with prospective customers to generate and close sales opportunities.
Further duties involve processing sales documentation accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies, and coordinating with finance, insurance, and service departments to facilitate vehicle delivery. The role requires maintaining knowledge of current vehicle models, promotions, and industry trends. The goal is to achieve individual and team sales targets while building and maintaining long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. Maintaining accurate customer records using the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) system is also crucial for success in this role.
