SALES CONSULTANT @ AFRICAN SCENIC SAFARIS LTD
African Scenic Safaris is a Moshi-based, Travelife-certified tour operator specializing in Kilimanjaro treks and Northern Circuit safaris. We are expanding our Google Ads investment and looking for an experienced sales consultant to turn high-intent leads into confirmed bookings. This position is a critical link between our marketing efforts and the operational delivery of our unique Tanzanian safari experiences.
This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days of in-office attendance per week at our Moshi office, with the remaining work day completed remotely. The role involves managing high volumes of leads generated through digital channels, creating bespoke travel itineraries, and maintaining high conversion standards to ensure business growth. You will be expected to maintain CRM data integrity and provide regular reporting on lead performance and sales metrics.

Key Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in safari, DMC, or tourism sales.
Proven track record of converting leads into confirmed bookings.
In-depth knowledge of Tanzania's safari circuits and Kilimanjaro routes.
Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English and Kiswahili.
Strong negotiation skills tailored for international clients.
Experience in managing and updating CRM pipelines effectively.
Ability to respond promptly to inquiries during working hours and weekends.
Strong computer literacy and proficiency in digital communication tools.
High degree of self-motivation and ability to meet monthly sales targets.
Demonstrated ability to design custom travel itineraries and accurate quotes.
