African Scenic Safaris Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our vibrant team in Moshi. This role is pivotal in managing our sales pipeline, engaging with potential international clients, and driving business growth within the competitive tourism sector. You will be responsible for handling inquiries generated from our digital platforms, ensuring that every lead receives professional and timely communication that reflects our brand's high standards. Successful candidates will thrive in a hybrid work environment, blending office collaboration with remote flexibility to deliver results. This position offers a 2-year renewable contract and the opportunity to engage with travelers from across the globe, crafting unforgettable safari and trekking experiences. You will be tasked with converting interest into confirmed bookings while maintaining meticulous records in our CRM system. The ideal professional will be a self-starter who excels at negotiation and is passionate about showcasing the natural beauty and adventure of Tanzania. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure seamless guest experiences from the moment a lead enters our system until the booking is confirmed.
Key Requirements
3+ years of experience in safari, DMC, or tourism sales.
Proven record of converting leads into confirmed bookings.
Strong knowledge of Tanzania safari circuits and Kilimanjaro climbing routes.
Excellent proficiency in both English and Kiswahili, both written and verbal.
Strong negotiation and international client-management skills.
Advanced experience managing and updating CRM sales pipelines.
Ability to respond promptly to inquiries including weekend availability when needed.
Strong organizational skills to handle multiple inquiries simultaneously.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid office environment.
Strong attention to detail for creating accurate quotes and customized itineraries.
