Africab is currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our corporate team in Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting operations, including billing, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition. You will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and maintaining compliance with international and Indian corporate accounting standards. Key Requirements
Must hold an Inter CA, Inter CMA, B.Com, or M.Com degree.
A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in accounting.
Strong knowledge and experience in Indian corporate accounting standards.
Candidate must be 35 years of age or younger.
Must have NO prior work experience in any African country.
Proficiency in advanced Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail in financial reporting.
Ability to manage multi-currency transactions and international financial regulations.
Strong communication skills for interacting with corporate stakeholders.
Proven ability to work independently and meet strict monthly closing deadlines.
