Adkan Group is currently seeking a highly skilled and creative Architect to join our professional team in Abuja. The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading the development of architectural concepts, creating innovative designs, and producing detailed construction drawings for a variety of residential and commercial projects. This role demands a blend of artistic vision and technical expertise to ensure that all structures are both aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound. You will act as a key liaison between the design phase and the physical construction, ensuring that the original vision is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Beyond design creation, the Architect will be responsible for preparing high-quality 3D renderings and comprehensive technical specifications to guide the construction process. You will play a vital role in interdisciplinary coordination, working closely with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to integrate various building systems seamlessly. Furthermore, you will be tasked with reviewing project requirements to guarantee full compliance with local building codes and Nigerian regulatory standards. Project supervision is also a core component of this role, requiring regular site visits to monitor progress and maintain quality control according to the architectural blueprints.

Key Requirements
B.Sc / M.Sc / HND in Architecture or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
4–7 years of proven professional experience in architectural design and on-site project supervision.
Advanced proficiency in industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
Hands-on experience with visualization and rendering tools such as Lumion or ArchiCAD.
Extensive knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building materials.
Deep understanding of Nigerian building regulations, planning laws, and safety standards.
Demonstrated creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a strong portfolio of work.
Proven ability to coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers and contractors.
Excellent communication skills for presenting complex architectural concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail in producing technical specifications and construction documentation.
