CIVIL ENGINEER (1 POSITION) @ ACER PETROLEUM
Acer Petroleum is looking for a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Dar es Salaam. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and oversee the construction projects of our petrol stations, ensuring they are built according to engineering specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations. You will be instrumental in managing project timelines and coordinating with various contractors to ensure high-quality delivery.
As a Civil Engineer at Acer Petroleum, you will also be responsible for structural assessments, site inspections, and providing technical solutions to complex construction challenges. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in the construction of petrol stations.
Solid understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes.
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets and schedules.
Registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) in Tanzania.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage site workers and contractors.
In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in the petroleum industry.
Ability to conduct thorough site surveys and technical inspections.
High level of problem-solving ability to address construction issues on-site.
