SENIOR CIVIL WORKS EXPERT @ ACENPRO
AcenPro is looking for a Senior Civil Works Expert to contribute to a major 2-year construction project in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This position demands deep expertise in structural and civil engineering, with a proven track record of successfully managing and executing complex civil works components. The expert will play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity and foundational success of the project, applying their knowledge of engineering principles and construction practices. The Civil Works Expert will be responsible for the planning, design review, and supervision of all civil engineering aspects, including foundations, earthworks, and structural elements. They will ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Collaboration with architects, project managers, and other specialists will be key to successful project delivery. Candidates must possess a strong understanding of the Dar es Salaam construction environment and demonstrate exceptional technical and analytical abilities.
Key Requirements
10+ years of experience in structural & civil engineering.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
Experience with foundation design and construction.
Ability to oversee earthworks and site preparation.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design.
Understanding of relevant construction codes and safety standards.
Ability to troubleshoot civil engineering challenges.
Collaboration with project stakeholders.
Experience with CAD software and engineering tools.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
