Acenpro is currently hiring a Civil Works Expert to join our expanding team for a major construction project in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Candidates must possess over ten years of experience in structural and civil engineering, with a proven ability to lead complex site operations. This role is part of a two-year contract focused on delivering high-standard building structures and robust civil infrastructure.
The Civil Works Expert will be responsible for managing structural integrity, overseeing earthworks, and ensuring all engineering specifications are met with precision. Given the scale of the project, we require a professional who is deeply familiar with the Tanzanian construction environment and can effectively manage technical site challenges. This is a senior-level position intended for individuals with a track record of engineering success.

Key Requirements
10+ years experience in structural and civil engineering roles.
Mastery of structural design, analysis, and structural integrity verification.
In-depth understanding of Dar es Salaam's geological and construction environment.
Proven track record in large-scale infrastructure or multi-story building projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar engineering design software.
Extensive knowledge of civil engineering materials and lab testing procedures.
Ability to oversee heavy construction works, foundations, and earthworks.
Strong problem-solving and technical analytical skills for site challenges.
Degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical engineering field.
Full familiarity with international and local building codes and standards.
