CIVIL ENGINEER @ ACENPRO
Acenpro is expanding its professional team for an upcoming major two-year construction project located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer who can provide proven leadership and technical expertise. This is a high-level role for a professional with over a decade of experience in mid-to-large scale building projects, focusing on delivering excellence in the local construction landscape. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring that every phase of the project adheres to structural drawings, BOQs, and specific technical requirements. You will serve as a key coordinator between subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality compliance. This two-year contract offers a significant opportunity to lead impactful infrastructure developments within the region.
Key Requirements
10+ years of experience in mid-to-large scale building projects.
Proficiency in reviewing structural drawings and technical specifications.
Strong knowledge of Dar es Salaam's local construction landscape and regulations.
Experience in managing Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Ability to supervise and manage diverse on-site construction activities.
Proven track record of leadership in civil engineering projects.
Excellence in ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Effective coordination skills with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) in Tanzania.
