AI DEVELOPER/ENGINEER – AI TOOLING @ ABSOLUTING
This is a high-impact, hands-on role for an AI Developer/Engineer (Developer Experience Engineer) focused on onboarding and integrating cutting-edge AI development tools for a leading financial client. The successful candidate will lead the onboarding of emerging AI developer tools such as Cursor and Factory AI, building proof-of-concept integrations with enterprise developer platforms. This role involves evaluating tools alongside security, risk, and platform teams while documenting integration patterns and workflows in an iterative, pipeline-driven environment.
The position is available in two locations: Alpharetta, GA and New York, NY, requiring a 5-day onsite presence. Key Requirements
2+ years of professional experience with AI-assisted development tools.
Strong programming proficiency in Python, Node.js, TypeScript, Java, or Go.
Proven experience building CLI tools, plugins, or third-party integrations.
Hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
In-depth knowledge of developer tooling ecosystems and best practices.
Experience setting up Proof of Concept (POC) environments using containers or cloud services.
Strong technical documentation and communication skills for operational guidelines.
Ability to evaluate technical tools in collaboration with security and risk teams.
Familiarity with SSO, OAuth, and enterprise secrets management.
Knowledge of VS Code or JetBrains plugin development environment.
Experience with agentic frameworks or MCP servers is highly desirable.
