DAIRY FARM MANAGER / SUPERVISOR @ ABS INTERNATIONAL
ABS International is seeking a dedicated Dairy Farm Manager or Supervisor to lead and oversee a modern livestock facility in Tanzania. The farm operation is substantial, consisting of 200 dairy cows and 150 goats and sheep, requiring a professional with deep technical expertise in animal care, milk production, and overall livestock productivity. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the farm, ensuring that all operations run efficiently while maintaining high standards of animal welfare and hygiene.
The role involves supervising daily activities such as feeding programs, nutrition formulation, and health monitoring, including vaccinations and breeding. Additionally, the manager will lead a team of farm workers, implement modern sustainable farming practices, and maintain meticulous records of production, inventory, and procurement. Compensation for this role is between USD 1000 and 1200 per month, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including a 2-year employment visa, air tickets, and provided accommodation in a dynamic international work environment.

Key Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Veterinary Science, Dairy Science, Animal Husbandry, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in dairy or livestock farm management.
In-depth knowledge of dairy production, breeding techniques, and feeding programs.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and train a diverse team of farm workers.
Experience in monitoring animal health, including vaccinations and general veterinary care.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate farm records, inventory, and production reports.
Strong understanding of hygiene, animal welfare standards, and quality control in milk production.
Ability to coordinate the procurement of animal feed, medicines, and essential farm supplies.
Experience implementing modern and sustainable dairy farming practices in a commercial setting.
Previous experience working in Africa or similar agricultural environments is highly advantageous.
