ABANTU HOTEL is inviting applications for the position of Housekeeping Supervisor in Tanzania. Our group is built on African values of warmth and family-centered service, and we require a supervisor who ensures every guest room and common area reflects these principles through impeccable cleanliness. You will be responsible for supervising the housekeeping staff, conducting regular inspections, and managing supplies and equipment. Your goal will be to ensure that our serviced apartments and hotel rooms are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and comfort for our guests.
Key Requirements
Experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Lead in a hotel setting.
Detailed knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Ability to inspect rooms and public areas to maintain high standards.
Strong team leadership and training capabilities.
Excellent organizational and inventory management skills.
Understanding of health and safety standards in hospitality.
Effective communication skills in Swahili and English.
Ability to handle guest requests and complaints regarding room quality.
Experience in managing laundry operations.
High school diploma; additional vocational training in housekeeping is preferred.
