ABANTU HOTEL is seeking a Guest Service Agent / Receptionist to be the face of our properties in Tanzania. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring a seamless stay for every visitor. Your role is central to embodying our African values of warmth and hospitality, making every guest feel like part of the family.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a passion for service. You will manage reservations, provide information about our serviced apartments and BnBs, and address guest needs with efficiency and care. Key Requirements
High school diploma or a degree in hospitality management.
Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role.
Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities under pressure.
Professional appearance and a warm, welcoming demeanor.
General knowledge of local attractions and guest services.
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
