ABANTU HOTEL is looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Tanzania. As a member of our hospitality group, which is deeply rooted in African values of warmth and family-centered service, you will be responsible for managing the hot section of our kitchen. Your role involves overseeing food preparation, ensuring consistent quality, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

You will collaborate with the executive chef to develop menus, manage inventory for your section, and mentor junior staff. Key Requirements
At least 3-5 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment.
Proven experience specifically as a Chef de Partie in the hot section.
Deep understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
Certification from a recognized culinary school or relevant apprenticeship.
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP).
Strong leadership and team management skills to guide junior cooks.
Excellent communication skills in English and preferably Swahili.
Ability to manage food costs and inventory for the assigned section.
High level of creativity in menu planning and food presentation.
