Abantu Hotel is currently hiring a Chambermaid to ensure our guest rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in Tanzania. Rooted in African values of hospitality, we provide serviced apartments and BnBs that require meticulous care. The Chambermaid is responsible for cleaning guest rooms, changing linens, and restocking supplies such as soap and towels.
You will be expected to work efficiently while respecting guest privacy and maintaining a friendly demeanor. This role is essential in creating the welcoming atmosphere that our brand is known for across our various properties. Your attention to detail will directly impact guest satisfaction and the reputation of Abantu Hotel.

Key Requirements
Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar cleaning role.
High attention to detail in cleaning and organizing guest rooms.
Strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills and a polite guest-facing manner.
Physical fitness required for lifting mattresses and moving carts.
Honesty and integrity when working in private guest areas.
Knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
Ability to report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
