BELLMAN @ ABANTU HOTEL
ABANTU HOTEL is looking for a dedicated Bellman to join our guest services team in Tanzania. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, assisting with luggage, providing directions, and ensuring a warm welcome. You will represent the hospitality and warmth that Abantu is known for, assisting guests across our hotels and serviced apartments.
As a Bellman, you will coordinate with the front desk to ensure smooth arrivals and departures. Your role is physically demanding but highly rewarding, as you provide essential support to our guests and help maintain the high service standards of our hospitality group. Key Requirements
Physical strength and the ability to lift and carry heavy luggage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel environment.
Good knowledge of the local area and transportation options.
Ability to remain standing and active for long periods of time.
A friendly, professional, and helpful attitude toward guests.
A valid driver's license is considered a significant advantage.
High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
Willingness to work in varying weather and environmental conditions.
Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
