PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNICIAN @ ABACUS
Abacus is seeking a qualified Pharmaceutical Technician to join our commercial team as part of our Branch Operations unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive supervision of all compliance, technical, administrative, and commercial operations at our Morogoro branch. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all pharmacy operations strictly adhere to professional standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining the integrity of our pharmaceutical inventory and cold chain protocols.
In this role, you will be tasked with meticulous inventory management, monitoring temperature logs for cold chain products, and maintaining strict control over the distribution of controlled drugs. The incumbent will work closely with the Branch Manager to optimize processes, uphold ISO standards, and ensure that our facility remains a safe and compliant environment. Key Requirements
Minimum of Three (3) years of working experience in the same role.
Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Enrolled Pharmaceutical Technician.
Knowledge of the state and laws regarding pharmacy practices.
Familiar with the use of Microsoft Suite.
Proven ability to maintain temperature logs and cold chain compliance.
Strong understanding of GDP (Good Distribution Practice) requirements.
Attention to detail regarding DDA (Dangerous Drugs Act) storage protocols.
Ability to maintain strict SOPs and audit readiness.
Excellent communication skills for dealing with regulatory bodies like TMDA and the Pharmacy Council.
