SECOND OFFICER @ AAVISHKA
Aavishka is looking for a qualified Second Officer to join offshore vessel operations for a prominent client in the United Arab Emirates. The candidate will be responsible for bridge watchkeeping, passage planning, and maintenance of life-saving and fire-fighting equipment. This role is essential for maintaining the safety and navigational integrity of Towing and Supply vessels operating in the region. Candidates should have a minimum of 12 months experience as a Second Officer on similar vessel types and hold a Second Officer II/1 Unlimited Certificate. A valid ADNOC SSSAF is mandatory for this role. The rotation for this position is set at 90 days on-duty followed by 60 days off-duty. Applicants must be ready for immediate mobilization and should not hold a current UAE visa. Operations are based in the United Arab Emirates.
Key Requirements
Second Officer II/1 Unlimited Certificate of Competency (Home Country or UK)
Minimum 12 months experience as Second Officer on similar vessels
Must be previously ADNOC Approved
Valid ADNOC Senior Sea Staff Approval Form (SSSAF)
Experience on Towing, Tug, AHTS, or Supply Vessels
No currently valid UAE Visa
Proficiency in Bridge Resource Management
Valid GMDSS operator certificate
Knowledge of LSA and FFA maintenance
Ability to perform navigational watchkeeping duties
