CHIEF ENGINEER @ AAVISHKA
Aavishka is currently recruiting a Chief Engineer for operations on ADNOC-approved offshore vessels. The Chief Engineer is responsible for the overall management of the engineering department, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment is maintained and operated safely. This role is critical for the continuous operation of AHTS and Supply vessels working in the offshore fields of the United Arab Emirates. Requirements include a Chief Engineer Unlimited certificate and at least 24 months of experience in the same rank on similar vessels. Candidates must be previously ADNOC approved with a valid SSSAF. The rotation pattern is 60 to 90 days on followed by 60 days off. Candidates must have all supporting maritime documents ready for immediate joining and must not have an active UAE visa. The work will be carried out in the offshore regions of the United Arab Emirates.
Key Requirements
Chief Engineer Unlimited Certificate of Competency (Home Country or UK)
Minimum 24 months (732 days) experience as Chief Engineer on similar vessels
Must be previously ADNOC Approved
Valid ADNOC Senior Sea Staff Approval Form (SSSAF)
Experience on Towing, Tug, AHTS, or Supply Vessels
No currently valid UAE Visa
Extensive knowledge of marine diesel engines and propulsion
Ability to manage engine room crew and budgets
Knowledge of MARPOL and environmental regulations
Technical troubleshooting skills for offshore machinery
