Our client in the automotive industry is seeking a proactive Vehicle Sales Executive to join their dynamic team in Tanzania. The primary focus of this role is to drive vehicle sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships within the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting a range of vehicles to both individual and corporate clients, ensuring that monthly and annual sales targets are consistently met or exceeded. In addition to sales activities, the Vehicle Sales Executive will be expected to conduct professional vehicle presentations and test drives, providing detailed information on vehicle specifications and benefits. The role requires the preparation of accurate quotations and diligent follow-up on leads to convert them into successful sales. Providing exceptional after-sales support is crucial for maintaining strong customer loyalty and building a reputation for excellence in the market. This position requires a candidate who is results-driven and has a deep understanding of the local automotive landscape to effectively position products against competitors.
Key Requirements
Minimum 3 years of professional experience specifically in automotive sales.
Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed established sales targets.
Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills to close deals effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and relevant local languages.
In-depth knowledge of the local automotive market and current vehicle specifications.
Ability to identify, approach, and convert new business prospects and corporate clients.
Possession of a valid Tanzanian driving license.
Proficiency in CRM software and basic office applications for reporting and quotations.
High level of customer service orientation and relationship-building skills.
Proven track record of conducting professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
