HSE OFFICER @ 2COMS
We are currently looking for an experienced HSE Officer for a reputable Power & Energy project based in Oman. The role involves the urgent implementation of comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures on-site to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring safety compliance and ensuring that distribution standards are met throughout the project's duration. In addition to oversight, the HSE Officer will conduct regular risk assessments and incident investigations to prevent future hazards. A significant part of the role includes delivering safety training and awareness programs to the workforce. This is a critical position requiring a professional with a strong background in power distribution safety and the ability to operate effectively within the Gulf's regulatory framework.
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of professional HSE experience
Mandatory experience working in the Gulf region
Prior experience in Power or Energy projects is preferred
Must hold NEBOSH or an equivalent safety certification
Knowledge of Gulf power distribution safety regulations
Possession of DCRP approval is preferred
Basic communication skills in both Arabic and English
Candidate must be male as per site requirements
Preferred nationality: India or Kenya
Proven ability to implement HSE policies and conduct site risk assessments
