HSE OFFICER @ 2COMS
We are urgently hiring dedicated and experienced HSE Officers to join a reputable Power & Energy project located in Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing Health, Safety, and Environmental protocols on-site, ensuring that all operations strictly comply with regional power distribution safety regulations and international standards. This role is essential for maintaining a safe working environment and minimizing risks within the energy sector.
Key responsibilities include implementing site-specific HSE policies, monitoring daily safety compliance, and conducting thorough risk assessments. The officer will also lead incident investigations and deliver comprehensive safety training and awareness programs to the workforce. The position offers a monthly salary ranging from OMR 220 to 300, with accommodation provided by the employer. Candidates must possess strong communication skills in both English and basic Arabic to effectively collaborate with a diverse team.

Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of professional HSE experience.
Mandatory experience working within the Gulf region.
Prior experience in Power or Energy projects is highly preferred.
Must hold a NEBOSH certification or an equivalent safety qualification.
In-depth knowledge of Gulf power distribution safety regulations.
Possession of DCRP approval is preferred.
Proficiency in basic Arabic and English communication.
Ability to implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures on-site.
Proven track record in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
Competency in delivering safety training and awareness programs to staff.
