SS Tech is seeking a highly experienced Senior Penetration Tester for a long-term onsite role in Raleigh, North Carolina. This position involves performing sophisticated offensive security assessments across complex network and infrastructure environments. The successful candidate will leverage their deep technical expertise to identify, exploit, and help remediate security vulnerabilities, ensuring the robustness of client systems. This is a contract role for a duration of 12 months or more, with potential for further extension based on project needs and performance.

The candidate will work closely with high-security and regulated environments, applying knowledge of various security frameworks such as NIST and OWASP. Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth analysis of Windows and Linux system internals, evaluating Active Directory attack paths, and utilizing advanced penetration testing tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, and BloodHound. Candidates must be prepared to relocate to the Raleigh area and work onsite from day one. Please note this role is specifically open to H1B candidates.

Key Requirements

Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in penetration testing or offensive security. Demonstrated expertise in network and infrastructure security testing protocols. Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls. In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux system internals. Proven experience with Active Directory attack paths and defense strategies. Advanced proficiency with tools such as Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, and Burp Suite. Experience using analysis tools like BloodHound, NetExec, and PingCastel. Ability to produce detailed, professional standard penetration testing reports. Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST SP 800-53, 800-115, and MITRE ATT&CK. Must be an H1B candidate willing to relocate to Raleigh, NC from day one.
