OKBioStart is seeking a dedicated and full-time Fellow to join the Cohort B 2026 program this summer. In this temporary role, the successful candidate will be based in our Oklahoma City office and work directly under the guidance of the Concept Program Manager. The primary focus of the fellowship is to assist early-stage founders as they navigate the complex process of transitioning innovative life science technologies from the initial concept phase through to successful commercialization. This is an immersive experience designed for individuals looking to understand the mechanics of how biotech ventures are established and grown.

The fellowship offers a unique vantage point into the world of biotechnology innovation and venture development. As a Fellow, you will participate in various activities that support founders, ranging from strategic planning to market analysis. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the intersection of science and business and are ready to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The program is scheduled to begin in early May and conclude at the end of July, providing a comprehensive summer experience in the biotech ecosystem of Oklahoma City.

Key Requirements

A strong academic background in life sciences or a related field. Demonstrated ability to be highly organized and manage multiple tasks. A natural curiosity and a strong eagerness to learn about the biotech industry. Passion for innovation and the development of early-stage ventures. Ability to commit to a full-time, temporary schedule from May through July. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with founders. Capacity to work effectively in a professional office environment in Oklahoma City. Strong analytical skills to support the evaluation of new technologies.
