IT BUSINESS ANALYST @ NILE TECH CONSULTING
We are seeking a highly analytical IT Business Analyst to support enterprise application initiatives within a dynamic oil & gas environment for our client, Cheniere Energy. This 100% onsite contract role based in Houston, TX, involves working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and development resources to gather, analyze, and document requirements. The primary objective is to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions, particularly within custom .NET application environments. The candidate will be expected to utilize SQL for data validation and contribute to the optimization of process flows through detailed documentation.
The successful candidate will partner with stakeholders to develop clear Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and user stories. Beyond documentation, the role requires a high-level understanding of APIs and data integration concepts (REST, JSON) to support integration efforts. You will facilitate workshops, manage stakeholder engagement, and assist with testing efforts including UAT planning and test case development. This is a fast-paced environment that demands a proactive self-starter with a sense of urgency and a strong attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle.
