We are seeking a highly experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects across the United Arab Emirates. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all activities comply with the stringent safety standards required for mega-projects in the region. The HSE Manager will be responsible for the implementation of safety programs, risk assessment strategies, and the continuous monitoring of safety performance on-site to protect both the workforce and the environment.

The role involves working across various subregions, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi, where the candidate will conduct detailed audits and safety assessments. You will be expected to provide expert guidance to project teams, facilitating safety training sessions and ensuring that all local UAE regulations are strictly followed. By maintaining a high level of safety awareness and promoting proactive risk management, the HSE Manager will ensure that the projects proceed efficiently while maintaining the highest levels of safety integrity.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 10 years’ experience as an HSE Manager specifically in construction projects. Strong knowledge of GCC HSE regulations and international safety standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and complex problem-solving skills. Professional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent. Proven track record in developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures. Experience in conducting comprehensive site inspections and safety audits. Ability to monitor and report on safety performance metrics effectively. Proficiency in safety training and mentoring project teams on-site. Current residency within the GCC region is mandatory for consideration.
