As a Lead or Senior React Native Engineer at KBC Technologies, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and leading the development of high-performance iOS and Android applications. You will play a pivotal role in building a scalable, enterprise-grade mobile application from the ground up, ensuring that the final product meets high security and performance standards. Your daily tasks will include writing high-quality code, defining mobile engineering standards, and creating component libraries and coding guidelines to be used across the team.

Beyond technical execution, you will act as a mentor for junior engineers, overseeing code quality through rigorous reviews and automated testing processes. You will collaborate closely with Product, Business, and Backend teams to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions. Additionally, you will drive the adoption of modern tooling, including AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot and automated CI/CD pipelines, to ensure efficient task delivery and technical growth within the engineering department.

Key Requirements

9+ years of total software engineering experience. 6+ years of hands-on experience developing apps with React Native. Strong knowledge of ES6 and TypeScript. Solid experience with micro-frontend or modular architecture and monorepo environments. Expertise in building and integrating native modules for both iOS and Android platforms. Proficiency in unit testing, automated testing frameworks, and quality automation practices. Strong experience with modern state and data management libraries like Redux Toolkit or TanStack Query. Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs for seamless backend integration. Hands-on experience with Xcode, Android Studio, app distribution, and certificate management. Excellent communication and collaboration skills within distributed or remote teams.
