Skydiscovery Mining Company Limited is looking for a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician (Mineral Inspector) to assist in our mineral analysis and quality control processes. The role involves the collection, preparation, and testing of mineral samples to ensure they meet specified technical standards. Work locations will include our facilities in Haneti, Dodoma and Mpanda, Katavi Region, where you will be an integral part of our exploration and production teams.

Candidates will be responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, documenting results accurately, and following strict health and safety protocols. This position requires a strong technical background and the ability to work independently in a laboratory setting. By providing accurate mineral inspections, you will help the company optimize its extraction processes and maintain the high quality of our mineral outputs.

Key Requirements

Proven experience in mineral testing or mineral inspection. Relevant technical knowledge in mineralogy or laboratory science. Prior work experience in a mining or industrial laboratory is required. Ability to operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of sample preparation and chemical analysis techniques. Commitment to adhering to health and safety standards in a lab. Ability to prepare detailed technical reports of findings. Strong computer literacy for data entry and analysis. A degree or diploma in a relevant scientific field.
