PROCUREMENT OFFICER (1 POSITION) @ AFRILIME MINERAL PROCESSING SOLUTIONS
Afrilime Mineral Processing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and professional Procurement Officer to join our operations at the Mpomvu site in Geita, Tanzania. This full-time role is critical to the efficiency of our mining and mineral processing activities, as the officer will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the procurement process. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will ensure that all goods and services are acquired in a timely and cost-effective manner to maintain operational continuity across the company.
Daily responsibilities include conducting market research to identify reliable suppliers, evaluating quotations, and negotiating terms that benefit the company’s bottom line. You will also be tasked with monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking and maintaining highly accurate records of all purchases and supplier performance. The position requires a high-integrity individual who can build strong relationships with service providers while ensuring that all procurement activities align with company standards and legal requirements in the Geita region.
