Al Geemi is looking for a specialized HSE Officer who holds TAQA Transmission approval to work on critical infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. This unique role focuses on safety management within the context of utility and power transmission construction. You will be responsible for ensuring that all site operations comply with TAQA’s specific safety requirements, which are essential for maintaining the integrity and safety of the power grid infrastructure.

The successful candidate will oversee safety during high-voltage works and transmission line installations. This requires a professional with a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of the specialized risks associated with the utility sector. You will work as a bridge between Al Geemi and utility stakeholders, ensuring that all safety documentation and site practices meet the highest possible standards for power infrastructure projects.

Key Requirements

Mandatory TAQA Transmission approval and certification. Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in utilities. Strong background in power transmission or distribution projects. Knowledge of electrical safety standards and high-voltage protocols. Relevant safety diploma or degree from a recognized institution. Experience in preparing and managing TAQA-compliant safety reports. Ability to lead safety site meetings and coordinate with utility inspectors. Excellent organizational skills for managing complex safety permits. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is considered a strong plus. Proven track record of implementing zero-harm policies on utility sites.
