PROJECT COORDINATOR ACCESS TO JUSTICE @ WOMEN LEGAL AID CENTRE (WLAC)
The Women Legal Aid Centre (WLAC) is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator for their Access to Justice program, focusing on supporting refugees and asylum seekers in the Kibondo and Kasulu Districts. This fixed-term role involves overseeing daily coordination, ensuring high-quality implementation, upholding donor compliance, and integrating critical standards like protection, safeguarding, and gender equality across all project activities. The project specifically operates in Kibondo and Kasulu Districts, addressing the needs of those in N-duta and Nyarugusu Refugee Camps as well as Dar es Salaam.
The coordinator will be responsible for meticulous work plan execution, budget monitoring, and the supervision of project staff and volunteers. A key function involves compiling and editing high-quality internal and external reports, ensuring timely submission in line with donor requirements. The successful candidate must possess strong relationship management skills for collaboration with key stakeholders, including UNHCR and government bodies, while strictly adhering to organizational PSEA and safeguarding policies.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience coordinating humanitarian or development projects, preferably in refugee contexts.
- Strong knowledge of access to justice, protection, and human rights programming.
- Ability to coordinate and monitor the overall implementation of the Access to Justice Program in camp and host communities.
- Proficiency in developing and monitoring work plans, budgets, and activity schedules, including tracking expenditures and ensuring donor financial compliance.
- Proven experience in supervision of project staff, volunteers, and community incentive workers to meet project objectives.
- Competency in monitoring, evaluation, data collection, and compiling high-quality internal and external donor reports.
- Commitment to ensuring the integration of protection, Age, Gender, and Diversity (AGD), and Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) principles.
- Experience in proposal development for fundraising, project planning, and implementation.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with stakeholders, Government, UNHCR, and NGOs to enhance multi-agency cooperation.
