WHISTLING WOODS is seeking a skilled Sandwich/Light Meals Cook to join the opening kitchen team at our new facility in Sinza, Dar es Salaam. This role focuses on the rapid preparation and presentation of high-quality sandwiches, salads, wraps, and other light menu items suitable for the café environment.
The successful candidate must possess relevant culinary experience and be able to work efficiently under pressure to meet customer demand in a fast-paced setting. Strong adherence to health and safety protocols is mandatory, along with immediate availability to help launch the restaurant.

Requirements:
- Relevant experience preparing sandwiches, salads, and light café meals
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume opening environment
- Strong hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Availability to start immediately
- Expertise in cold and hot sandwich assembly and plating
- Managing daily mise en place and ingredient preparation
- Knowledge of portion control and minimizing waste
- Ability to follow standardized recipes accurately
- Working well within a small kitchen team
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
