HEAD BAKER @ WHISTLING WOODS
WHISTLING WOODS is urgently seeking an experienced Head Baker to lead the opening team for our newly completed Bakery, Café & Restaurant facility located in Sinza, Dar es Salaam. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of the bakery production, ensuring the highest standards of quality, flavor, and presentation for a wide range of baked goods, including specialty breads and pastries.
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in setting up the bakery operation from scratch, establishing efficient workflows, and managing inventory. You will be responsible for mentoring and guiding the assistant bakers, maintaining strict hygiene protocols, and contributing to the overall success of the new facility. Immediate availability is required to meet the planned opening schedule.

Requirements:
- Relevant experience as a Head Baker or Senior Baker
- Ability to work in a fast-paced opening environment
- Strong hygiene and food safety practices
- Availability to start immediately
- Proven ability to manage and train junior bakery staff
- Expertise in preparing a wide variety of breads, pastries, and baked goods
- Inventory management and ordering of raw materials
- Experience with recipe development and quality control
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
