UZALISHAJI BARIDI TECHNOLOGY LIMITED is seeking a dedicated Translator (Chinese–English) to facilitate seamless communication within the company, supporting management, factory staff, and external business partners. This role is crucial for accurately translating complex information, both spoken and written, between Chinese and English. Key duties involve assisting in communication across various departments and actively supporting sales, operations, and technical discussions as required.The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication and professional reliability, with mandatory fluency in both Chinese and English. The primary work locations will involve areas within the Kigamboni Municipal Council, specifically Lingato and Kisarawe Li. This position offers a minimum salary of TZS 1,500,000 per month.
Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency and native-level fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English languages (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to translate Chinese English accurately, including technical and operational documentation.
  • Assist in crucial communication flow between management, factory personnel, and business partners.
  • Support sales, operations, and technical discussions, acting as a language bridge.
  • Demonstrate professional and reliable work ethic at all times.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for cross-cultural environments.
  • Cultural sensitivity and knowledge of both Chinese and Tanzanian business environments.
  • Proven experience as a professional translator or interpreter is highly preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Must be available to work in the specific locations of Lingato, Kisarawe Li, or Kigamboni Municipal Council.
