HEAD OF SALES & MARKETING @ UPSCALE HOSPITALITY GROUP
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Head of Sales & Marketing to lead the commercial efforts for an upscale hotel based in Tanzania. This critical role involves developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans focused on driving revenue growth and market share within the competitive luxury hospitality sector. Key areas of focus include proactive sales initiatives, market positioning, brand management, and maximizing bookings across all segments. The ideal candidate must possess extensive experience in selling MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and Events packages, coupled with strong prior exposure to established luxury or upscale hotel brands. The remuneration package offered is competitive, including a monthly salary of USD 2500, single-status accommodation, and visa sponsorship.
Requirements:
- Experience in upscale hospitality
- Experience in selling MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions)
- Experience in selling Events packages
- Strong exposure to luxury or upscale hotel brands
- Proven leadership and management skills in a commercial setting
- Ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies
- Deep understanding of the Tanzanian market and regional tourism trends
- Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills
- Budget management and revenue forecasting abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
