Ubuntu Impact is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Medical Representative / Scientific Officer to join their full-time team in Dar es Salaam. The primary responsibility involves promoting pharmaceutical products imported by the company to community and hospital-based healthcare staff. This role requires a professional capable of managing client relationships, driving sales growth, and balancing both the business and scientific needs of healthcare professionals. The advertised net salary for this position ranges from TZS 400,000 to TZS 700,000 per month.

Key activities include organizing and attending appointments and meetings with doctors, nurses, and pharmacists; demonstrating or presenting products; identifying and establishing new business opportunities; and negotiating contracts. The successful candidate will also be responsible for undertaking relevant research, maintaining detailed records, managing budgets, and reviewing sales performance. Benefits include a transport allowance and commission based on target completion.
Requirements:
  • 2 years experience in Pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills for appointment scheduling.
  • Strong negotiation and professional communication skills.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records.
