ASSOCIATE, PROGRAM MEASUREMENT & INSIGHTS (PM&I) @ TARL AFRICA
The Associate, Program Measurement & Insights (PM&I) at TaRL Africa is tasked with significantly contributing to the effectiveness of government-led foundational literacy and numeracy programs. This role involves extensive collaboration with government partners to enhance data systems and integrate TaRL assessment methodologies into existing monitoring structures. The successful candidate will play a critical role in strengthening the overall measurement capabilities of these educational initiatives. The position is based in Copperbelt, Zambia. Key responsibilities include supporting the use of evidence and data for informed decision-making within government programs. The PM&I Associate is expected to drive initiatives that ensure reliable data collection, analysis, and utilization to improve educational outcomes across the supported regions.
Requirements:
- Support government-led monitoring, measurement, and data use for foundational literacy and numeracy programmes.
- Work closely with government counterparts to strengthen data systems and capacity.
- Integrate TaRL assessments and methodologies into existing governmental structures.
- Support evidence-informed decision-making processes based on data insights.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to handle complex datasets.
- Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system design and implementation.
- Proficiency in data management tools and statistical software (e.g., Excel, R, Stata).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and report writing skills.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in cross-cultural and government settings.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
