Selous Kinga Lodge Ltd, a growing tourism company, is urgently seeking a results-driven Digital Marketing Professional. This role is crucial for strengthening our online presence, generating high-quality leads, and promoting our safari and travel services across all relevant digital platforms. The professional will be tasked with planning and executing full-cycle digital marketing strategies, managing and growing social media platforms, and ensuring maximum online visibility for our products. This is a full-time contract position located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales and operations teams to directly increase booking conversions. This role involves comprehensive responsibilities including managing paid campaigns (Meta and Google Ads), creating compelling content, handling email and WhatsApp marketing, and performing in-depth performance analysis and reporting. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a proven track record, especially within the travel or hospitality industry, who can creatively work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven 3 years of working experience in digital marketing, preferably within the tourism or travel sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) and their respective advertising and analytics tools.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, manage, and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies for safari and tour products.
- Proficiency in running and optimizing paid advertisement campaigns across platforms like Meta Ads and Google Ads.
- Expertise in creating engaging multimedia content, including posts, captions, reels, campaigns, and compelling advertisements.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledgeable in managing website content, implementing SEO strategies, and improving overall online visibility.
- Experience handling email marketing and WhatsApp business campaigns to generate quality leads.
- Strong analytical mindset, capable of generating performance reports and utilizing data to improve conversion rates.
- Self-motivated, creative, highly organized, and proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
