LABELLER OPERATOR (2) @ SBC TANZANIA LIMITED
SBC Tanzania Limited, a leading multinational soft drinks supplier, is urgently seeking a qualified Labeller Operator to join the Production team at our Dar es Salaam Plant. This role is crucial for ensuring all products are correctly labeled according to specified order requirements, maintaining high standards of presentation and compliance. The operator will report directly to the Production Officer and will be responsible for the primary operation and maintenance of labelling machinery.
Key responsibilities include tending the labelling machine, positioning products, initiating the labelling mechanism, and ensuring the accurate placement of labels on both sides of the product. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent knowledge of record-keeping, plastic materials, and labelling processes. A strong focus on timely reporting of machine misbehavior and maintaining proper documentation is essential for success in this demanding production environment.

Requirements:
- Form IV/VI qualification with Vocational Training Grade Test I or II.
- At least 4 years experience in a related field.
- Mandatory PET machines running experience.
- Ability to tend machines that attach identification labels to products.
- Proficiency in positioning records/products on the machine bed and operating the labelling mechanism.
- Skill in repeating operations to label the reverse side of the product accurately.
- Commitment to keeping proper records and ensuring documentation accuracy.
- Ability to report immediately and timely on any machine malfunctions or misbehavior.
- Excellent knowledge and skill set in complex record keeping procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge of plastics, labelling procedures, and production standards.
