Roar Capital is seeking meticulous Procurement Officers to join its clients, prominent cleaning companies operating throughout Tanzania. The core function of this role is to manage the acquisition of all necessary supplies, equipment, and services required for cleaning operations, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. While based in Dar es Salaam, the role involves managing the supply chain across various operational sites nationally.The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating with suppliers, managing contracts, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Expertise in sourcing materials specific to the cleaning industry, alongside strict adherence to procurement policies and ethical standards, is essential for this local position.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., PSPTB, CIPS) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Procurement Officer, focusing on sourcing supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
- Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to secure favorable vendor contracts.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and inventory management systems.
- Excellent understanding of sourcing and supplier management best practices in Tanzania.
- Ability to perform rigorous vendor due diligence and quality control checks.
- Experience managing tenders and ensuring adherence to procurement policies.
- Strong numerical accuracy and reporting skills.
- Must be a local resident of Tanzania.
