HR OFFICER @ ROAR CAPITAL
Roar Capital is partnering with leading cleaning companies in Dar es Salaam to find dedicated HR Officers. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the full cycle of human resources activities, supporting employees across various operational areas in Tanzania. Key tasks include talent acquisition, maintaining compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive working environment. The position is based in Dar es Salaam but supports operations nationally.The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating complex employee matters, ensuring fair labor practices, and implementing effective HR strategies tailored to the service industry. This is a critical role focused on maintaining a productive and legally compliant workforce, strictly open to local candidates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an HR Officer, preferably in a company with a large blue-collar workforce (like cleaning services).
- In-depth knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws, employment standards, and regulations.
- Experience in recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Proven ability to handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Experience managing payroll inputs and benefits administration.
- Must be a local resident of Tanzania.
