ACCOUNTANT @ ROAR CAPITAL
Roar Capital is recruiting on behalf of several prominent cleaning companies based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. We are seeking highly qualified and ethical Accountants to manage the financial operations and ensure compliance across the organizations. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing detailed reports, managing payroll, and overseeing budget adherence. The primary location is Dar es Salaam, but the client companies operate across Tanzania.The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end financial management, including reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, and ensuring adherence to local financial regulations. This is a local role, and candidates must have relevant experience in the Tanzanian market, ideally within the services or cleaning industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA/ACCA certification or progress towards it is a plus.
- Proven experience (3+ years) working as an Accountant, preferably within the service or cleaning industry.
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian tax regulations and financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
- Ability to manage payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare and present accurate financial statements and budgets.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- Must be a local resident of Tanzania.
