Recruitance is seeking a dedicated and proactive Deskside Support Level-1 specialist to join our dynamic team in Magenwil, Switzerland. This is a crucial Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) role focused on providing exceptional hands-on and remote technical assistance to our internal users. The ideal candidate will be adept at quickly diagnosing and resolving technical problems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and maintaining high levels of user satisfaction. You will be the primary point of contact for all IT-related queries, ranging from basic software issues to complex hardware malfunctions.

This position requires strong foundational knowledge in IT infrastructure, including proficiency in Windows environments and standard business applications like Office 365. You will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets, supporting desktop and laptop environments, and contributing to the overall stability of the corporate network. Success in this role hinges on outstanding troubleshooting skills, a commitment to detailed documentation, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff.
Requirements:
  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Windows operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions using Active Directory and related tools.
  • Experience with ticket logging and management systems, ensuring timely resolution and escalation.
  • Support and configuration of Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Perform hardware deployment, imaging, and replacement for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and manage stock of spare parts.
  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, cabling).
  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent IT certification is highly desirable.
