MEDICAL REPRESENTATIVE (08) @ PHILLIPS DISTRIBUTORS LIMITED (PDL)
PHILLIPS DISTRIBUTORS LIMITED (PDL) is seeking eight (08) dedicated Medical Representatives to join their team in Dar es Salaam. The primary objective of this role is to effectively promote and detail pharmaceutical products to key stakeholders, including doctors, pharmacists, and various healthcare professionals within the assigned territory. The successful candidate will be instrumental in achieving defined sales targets, boosting product awareness, and ensuring strong market penetration for PDL's product portfolio. Key responsibilities include managing strong professional relationships with healthcare providers, gathering crucial market intelligence, and conducting informative presentations and one-on-one meetings with medical staff. Candidates must hold a Bachelor or Diploma in Human Sciences or a related field, possess at least one year of relevant experience, and demonstrate strong communication skills and adherence to ethical sales practices and industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Diploma in Human Sciences or a related field.
- At least 1 year and above work experience in a similar role (Medical Sales/Representative).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and flexibility.
- Strong communication skills for detailing and presentations.
- Must be currently residing in Dar es Salaam (the Job Location).
- Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers.
- Knowledge of gathering market intelligence and competitor analysis.
- Proficiency in conducting professional presentations and group discussions with medical staff.
