This role seeks a meticulous and experienced Editor to join a dynamic PR & Advertising company in Tanzania. The Editor will be responsible for reviewing, correcting, and polishing various content types, including press releases, reports, articles, and marketing materials, ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and adherence to client brand guidelines. Success in this role requires a sharp eye for detail and the ability to enhance clarity and impact while preserving the author's voice.
The ideal candidate must possess exceptional linguistic skills in both English and Swahili, coupled with a solid understanding of the media and advertising landscape. You will work closely with the writing and design teams to streamline content production workflows and manage editorial calendars. A portfolio demonstrating a history of published and successful editorial projects is mandatory for consideration.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Editor or similar role.
- Excellent command of English and Swahili grammar and style.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- Familiarity with PR and Advertising industry content.
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency in relevant editing software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with writers and designers.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Portfolio showcasing previous editorial work.
- Tanzanian national status required.
