PROCUREMENT QA/QC ENGINEER – PIPING @ NES FIRCROFT
We are urgently seeking a Procurement QA/QC Engineer specializing in Piping for our Singapore operations. This critical role requires 10-15 years of experience, focusing on ensuring the quality and compliance of all procured piping materials during the FEED and detailed engineering stages. Responsibilities include rigorous review of vendor documentation, execution of supplier audits, and oversight of manufacturing processes to guarantee adherence to project specifications and industry codes like ASME.The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and possesses extensive knowledge of piping metallurgy and non-destructive examination techniques. Success in this position hinges on proactive quality management, effective communication with global suppliers, and meticulous documentation control, ensuring that all materials meet the high standards required for project implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 10–15 years of experience specifically in Piping QA/QC for procurement.
- Mandatory experience in FEED and detailed engineering phases.
- Expertise in piping materials, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
- Deep knowledge of relevant industry codes (e.g., ASME B31 series, API).
- Experience conducting supplier audits and pre-inspection meetings (PIM).
- Proven ability to review and approve vendor documentation and Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
- Strong background in material traceability and certification review (MTCs).
- Proficiency in implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Must be able to travel domestically or internationally for vendor inspections.
