SENIOR E-COMMERCE OPERATOR / SHOPIFY @ MYVIRTUALMATE
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior E-Commerce Operator/Shopify expert to join the founding team of a premium children’s consumer brand launching in the United States. This hands-on role requires building and scaling our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brand from scratch, transforming the Shopify store into a high-performance sales engine. Key responsibilities include owning the entire store build and conversion rate optimization (CRO), managing US payment compliance, and overseeing logistics through 3PL onboarding and fulfillment setup.
The ideal candidate will also drive customer experience and retention systems, define the sales growth strategy using performance analytics, and collaborate on strategic initiatives like pricing, bundling, and product launches. The primary goal for this role is aggressive scaling, targeting over 250,000 units sold in the first year of operation within the competitive US e-commerce market. This position demands a strong startup mindset and proven experience scaling major DTC brands.

Requirements:
- 5+ years scaling Shopify DTC brands in the U.S.
- Proven experience launching e-commerce stores from scratch.
- Experience in children’s, parenting, toys, or family consumer brands.
- Strong understanding of U.S. e-commerce operations and compliance.
- Startup mindset with a growth-driven and highly analytical approach.
- Expertise in end-to-end Shopify store build and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
- Ability to manage U.S. payments, checkout processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with 3PL onboarding, logistics planning, and fulfillment setup.
- Proven ability to establish robust customer experience and retention systems.
- Skilled in developing sales growth strategies and analyzing performance metrics.
- Proficiency in collaboration on pricing strategy, product bundling, and new product launches.
- Capacity to work effectively in the U.S. time zone.
